Meeting Schedule

SO-PAF-UG meetings are held the second Saturday of each month (no meeting is held in August) from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church, 1969 Williams Hwy. A mini class and 4-6 full classes on genealogical topics and PAF software are offered to SO-PAF-UG members and visitors during Saturday meetings. Visitors and members are encouraged to attend.

Will Personal Ancestral File 5 work on Microsoft Vista?

Microsoft's new operating Vista is showing up on more and more computers, particularly new computers. Naturately, folks are wondering if their PAF 5 files will be happy on Vista. Here is the answer we got from the Family Search page:

We have done limited testing of Personal Ancestral File 5.2 an the Microsoft Vista platform. All the testing we have done indicates that it works just fine. If you find a problem with the program on Vista, please inform Headquarters Support at 1-866-406-1830.
